  Rebeca Perez, a native of La Rioja has a great passion for the wines produced throughout that region. Apart from her knowledge of the area (which I have always described as the fine-wine district of Spain) she has a talent for languages and a natural ability to create a memorable visit.

  Out of hundreds of winery tours in Rioja, if you want the real thing, do this. The tour was very personalized. Routes change as you want because they know it all so well. I did a solo trip where my guide and I drove through the little caminos along the gorgeous autumn leaves of the vinyards, took photos and walked across the vinyards like we own them! You do stop by at some of the big wineries to hear about the history of Rioja wine, which is a must I suppose, but after that is completely up to your choice. If you want to plan your own special winery trip, have Rebeca help you. Again, I thank her and my guide Itzi it was the best winery tours I've had so far.
