  Drop by for lunch with friends every so often. Very generous sized bocatas with lots of options at good prices. 10/10 meatballs and bacon sub

  This was one of the worst traveling experiences I/we have had in terms of sleep arrangements. The owner/manager wasn't friendly/didn't speak much in writing up our information-things were very unclear from the start; finding our room was only after going through a strange labyrinth which is why they sent someone up to show us our room at least. It was also above a restaurant/bar which we thought would be nice to go to, but turned out to be a bit noisy (welcome to the nature of parts of the area of course). But this wasn't the worst of it. It was mid-July and very hot. There was no air conditioning or even fans available, even upon requesting assistance. The only solution from the stuffiness was to open the windows for ventilation (which didn't help much in the summer heat and without breeze). Unfortunately this meant hearing all of the outside noise, and there was so much drunk and screaming/violent locals activity until late hours/early mornings that we couldn't sleep for the two nights we had booked. We almost left and tried another place because we had to be at the location for the nearby university, but seeing as we had already paid and there were no refunds/close location...we made it through and got out of there asap. Oh, and we also needed a new roll of toilet paper for the room and instead of politely obtaining one for us, they asked us why, since they had already given us one (they didn't, either, besides the point)--rationing out the paper. If it was such a deal I would have bought my own/paid for it. Very unhappy and would never recommend or return.

  Bar and hostel together, simple yet effective - the room had the basic needs and wifi connection. Also could communicate in English, the staff are friendly but always in a rush. Stayed in February, one night with dinner and breakfast was little more than 40 euros. Would recommend if looking something simple and nothing fancy.
